Group Mediclaim Policy-OPD policy for all pensioners aged 60 years and above for the period April 01, 2024, to March 31, 2025, has been placed with New India Assurance Company Limited. There are changes in the policy as under:

Group Mediclaim Policy for pensioners aged 60 years and above :

• The OPD policy has been extended to pensioners aged 60 years and above.
• Pensioners attaining age of 60 years during a particular month will be added in Group Mediclaim Policy from first day of the succeeding month and in the event of death of a pensioner, his/ her spouse/ dependent children will continue to be covered.
• Personal promotion (PP) will be considered for fixing the sum insured limit to higher grade for all eligible pensioners. 
  

The admissible claims will be reimbursed to the pension account by the Insurance Company.
