Shri Kishore Da, President, AIRBIOPF has requested Governor, by email dated 5th June 2021 for :

ii) Graded pension to Super senior citizen retirees
Full contents of the letter dated 5th June 21 to Governor:
“Please accept our heartiest congratulations on your benevolent endeavor to release a huge sum of money and introduce several other measures to tackle the pandemic and to help those whom the pandemic adversely affected, like health workers.
Nevertheless, we express dark assertion on the plight of thousands of R B I Pensioners who have been denied so far, their due demand for updating the pension since long.
Age and Covid-19 -the twin enemies of aging population-have imposed incalculable despair and grief on the RBI retirees too, the heart-rending accounts of which are daily seen and faced by us – the survivors so far.
In the present grim situation, the pensioners desperately need financial support to face the ongoing crisis for survival. Hence, we request you to at least release ad-hoc updated pension to the Pensioners at the earliest, as the demand for updating pension remains unfulfilled since long.
In this connection, we also invite a reference to our letter dated 24.6.2019 (attached) for introduction of graded pension for pensioners, aged 80 years and above, as available to central government pensioners. We again request you to also introduce Graded Pension for the super senior retirees.
We hope for sympathetic and timely consideration of above demands.”
(details in the email/letter dated 24-6-19 attached ) We expect positive and timely response from the respected Governor.
