📅 Important Deadlines for Life Certificate Submission

Please note the specific windows allocated based on your age:

  • Senior Pensioners (80 years and above): You can submit your Life Certificate starting from October 1, 2026, through November 30, 2026. Certificates submitted during this extended window will remain valid until November 30 of the subsequent year.
  • Pensioners Below 80 Years: You are requested to submit your Life Certificate between November 1, 2026, and November 30, 2026.

Option 1: Digital Life Certificate (Recommended)

You can avoid unnecessary paperwork by opting for the Digital Life Certificate through the Government of India’s Jeevan Pramaan Portal.

  • How to do it: Download the application on your PC/Mobile or visit your nearest Jeevan Pramaan Kendra.
  • Automatic Update: Once generated, the certificate automatically updates in Samadhan, meaning you don’t need to visit the Bank’s office physically.
  • Important Tip: When filling out the Jeevan Pramaan app, use your 6-digit Samadhan ID as the PPO number.

Option 2: Hard Copy Life Certificate

If you prefer the physical route, you can submit the Form 14 original Life Certificate (duly signed and attested):

  1. In-Person: Visit the office premises physically.
  2. By Post/Courier: Send the attested form to your respective pension-paying office.
